I was cheking on him a few minutes ago because I saw him laying at the bottom of his tank he went up for air and he didnt make it! it got half way there and looked like he almost passed out and just layed at the bottom I waitind for like 10 seconds to see if hes get back up but they I scooped him up in a net and put him in the cup he came in with some of his water from his tank. he is not doing well at all, the white spots where he had scale loss has turned bright red, I had been giving him salt treatment and changing his water everyday he had started to look really good until just now,

But he got worse he wasn't swimming up even to the distance of the cup, now he is laying on the lid i placed in there for him, he swam onto the lid and is laying so close to the surface so all he has to do is lift his head to breathe.

I fear his end might be soon I don't know what to do.

He was in a tank kept at 78-80 degrees to help his healing. it was filtered, it had gravel, silk plants, it was 5 gallons.

Don't have any advice past what you know...warm water, clean, and make him comfy as possible.

Sorry to hear he is ill..

Which salt were you using?
What was the dose?
How often were you doing water changes, and the %?
How long has he been in the salt?

At this point unsure the prognosis, but if anything, at least he will be a bit more comfortable in the shallower water..
