CT x HMPK?

Well I was just curious if anyone has bred CTPKs or seen one. What do they come out looking like? My newest pair is a CT and a HMPK and I want to get a good idea as to what I should shoot for. Thanks :)

I'm acually planning a ctxpk spawn on Saturday. as with any spawn, shoot for good colour, and good finnage.

You'd get CT'S.

Yeah, youd get medium finned CT's.

You could possibly get some CTPK's in F2 if you bred a baby back to the hmpk but more than likely they wouldnt really begin to show up until f3.

This is what they would look like in f2-f3

I read where an Asian Breeder does not cross back to the parents, but pairs the best f1 siblings and breeds them.
He has some nice looking CTPKs.

That could definitely work too, but from what I have read crossing sibling x parent will get the desired results faster

But that would only work if the parent is perfect. You will have more to choose from with siblings.

I am really putting a foot down on getting a good result. I like the picture posted that is definitely close! Also the male has big ears so there is a chance of eventually breeding dumb CTPKs but that's several generations down the road :)
