I was wondering if someone could help me out with this, I have a older gourami and a younger one in my 30g tank. For some reason the bigger one attacks the younger one constantly, to the point where the little one hides in the driftwood all day. Should I put the little one in a seperate tank until he grows a little more, or should I just leave it alone?

hello there.
what gouramis are they ?
there is a big possibility that they are both males, and if that is the case
this behaviour won't stop.
the way to tell,is by looking at the top dorsal fin,if it is pointed, then it's a male,if rounded then a female.
you can heavily plant the tank, and provide lots of floating plants,
this may help, and will give the smaller one somewhere to go,
please excuse the picture it was taken before water change day.
it's an old picture and inhabitants have changed since then. :)
anyway it's a male gourami, incase you wern't sure how to tell the difference.

hi
if you can safley move him to another tank, then yeah, i would,
unless your tank is large and heavily planted then i can't see
the situation getting any better.
sorry to hand you bad news.
