North face jackets?

i'm looking for a real one that is a perfect winter coat and has a detatchable hood. my dad promised me he will get me one for next winter -,- wait so long... i dont have a winter coat so i have to wear like 2-3 hoodies... ergh.
also, i know websites sell fake northfaces and i definitely dont want those. we check on sports authority,thenorthface website, nordstrom, macy's and i have a few ideas. anyone have a northface that's perfect they think i can find somewhere? and i would prefer a wind/water proof one too.

Dicks sporting goods has all sorts of them.
Cabella's, and other hunting stores carry them as well.
Sometimes TJ Maxx will carry them too, but you have to go in and check when they get new shipments because they dont advertise what they have in on their website.

I'm a bargain shopper, so I dont waste my money on a northface. All they are is a brand, its not any better quality than any other jacket. Just like bearpaw vs. ugg.

I got a really nice columbia winter jacket at TJ Maxx for like $40, normally retails for 150....so I'd check there!

They are better because u can buy 2 pair for the price of 1 pair of uggs! Lol

But yeah, try dick's sporting goods, they seem to always have a good supply of them if your dead set on a north face

I second the recommendation for Columbia. Even at full retail you will pay less than North Face.

On the North Face site you can check availability of an item in stores in your area. I like the look of the Kalispell Insulated Triclimate Jacket.

I can get into my car when it's 9*F and have no need to heat my car up before hand, because my jacket is super warm.

Also, if it's too hot for one, I can always unzip a layer off and use only one of the two layers. Amazing jacket!!!

These are less expensive. I don't think the second's hood is removable. It's hard finding one with a removable hood, honestly. I wasn't sure what style you were going for. Maybe one of these can point you in the right direction?
