My new guy

Found this little guy at wal-mart. Not too sure of his coloring but thought he was rather pretty. And he was so active in his little cup and even more so in his new gallon tank. Still not sure of a name for him yet.

No its a bowl that is around 1.5 gallon. This is a close up of him, he is still rather small. He can't be more than a month or two old. He loves to hide in the two live plants that are in his tank, hard to see him when he does that. The bowl has never dropped below 72 degrees, at the highest its been has been 76.

He is very colorful. You might want to consider a small heater and see what he does if you can keep that temp around 78.

Cute! I got a BEAUTIFUL guy from walmart. Seems as if they are getting better bettas, but still caring for them crappy.

Finding a good betta at my wal-mart is usually a hit and miss. I got lucky so far in find a dalmatian, a big ear grizzle and now this guy. Most of the time they are just usually red or blue... And yes, the care is still poor for them as with all the other fishes.

Sadly unless I want to make an hour trip to I am stuck with wal-mart fish. Its the only place really around here to get pet stuff. I'll be getting a heater for him when I take said trip next weekend.
