LOVE your signature!
Maybe we are dealing with Darwinism here! The dumb fish don't get to live. The stakes are higher in the wild! No owner to pull their heads out of rocks!!!

LOL. Thank you! I've been thinking about changing it to: "If we're made of cells, then a scientist who studies cells is really studying themcells!" I enjoy puns too much. :3

Yea, I woke up at 1 in the morning to turn the light on to check on the last two (out of four) during the night. They were stuck vertically in plants. -.- How does that even happen!? Here's how it turned out:

1. Inside log
2. On filter
3. Vertically in a plant.
4. Refer to 3.

I had a female king (Queen?) get stuck trying to squeeze through a jade dragon statue (that standard bettas fit through), and drown.

I had a male king jump out of a 1" gap in the lid, and land in the catbox that was hidden under the stand!

Ditto on the trying to eat everything and anything bit. The Tetra Safe Start that was in the tank, my boy ate the little floaties that are supposed to feed the bacteria, not the betta. He gobbled up the Maracyn II powder I dumped in the tank- lesson learned, always pre-dissolve your medicines. I tried to feed my baby ramshorn snail zucchini, but my goofball betta thinks it's for him. Poor snail, but I'm really surprised that he hasn't ended being a betta treat.

My Max (Opaque CT) went to check out his new ghost shrimp buddy by trying to give him a piggy back. The shrimp kinda latched onto his fin and Max freaked out started swimming around frantically to get him off. My poor little guy I felt so bad for him but couldn't help but laugh hysterically as he tried to buck the little shrimp off. My shrimp now has the fitting name of Cowboy.

Oh the irony of a fish landing in a cat litter box.

No, it isn't wrong. I love puns! More than likely my favorite style of joke EVER! =D

My girl Tangerine is one of those bettas that likes to play with her food. She grabs the pellet, noms, spits it out, chases it down, grabs...you get the idea.

...Only she has discovered the hard way that this is a good way to lose your meal when there's a hungry tetra who is not at all intimidated by a betta in the area.
