They are silly fish, for sure! They scare me to death with their need to "nap" on decor, plants, the bottom of the tank! If any other fish did that, that means you have a dead fish. My pineapple HM has been laying on the bottom of the tank for 2 weeks, only rising to get air once in a while. I was building her little fish coffin in my head, when suddenly, she's chasing the other 8 girls around and disrupting what I have painstakingly built as a peaceful betta sorority! I guess she was feeling bullied and it's payback time!!! I am tired of having to place FISH in "timeout" tanks! I've put my bettas in timeout more than my son (0 times) or the child I babysit (also 0 times). (B/c I'm watching, I'm going to let her have her revenge a little bit).
And Miss I-caught-my-head-in-a-bead is just fine. She's looking for other things to get her head stuck in.
