So I came home with my new Elephant Ear last night and gave him a few, "Welcome to your new home pellets". I don't know how Pet Stores go about feeding their Bettas so I was going to be sure he at least had a couple. Needless to say, he ate each and every one of them.
I fed him two this morning when I woke up and again, he ate both without hesitation. I'm planning on feeding him two or three again this evening.
Now the thing is, either he's extremely smart about knowing who feeds him as I went over and sat on my bed and he swam to the side closest to me and begin swimming back and forth and was opening his mouth or he's hungry.
(I had a previous Crowntail who did this around feeding time as he was on a schedule).
Should I up his amount? Or keep it at two pellets in the morning and two at night?
What would you recommend?
Thank you for all the advice/opinions in advance!(:
