Is this aquarium safe?

Wondering if this is aquarium safe, because i want to use it as decoration for my new 120 gallon. Thanks in advance. http://m.homedepot.com/p/12-in-x12-i...170/202666126/

The only thing I know about rocks ... ok so I know 2 things:

A. if vinegar fizzes on it (only need a couple drops) it's bad
B. NEVER BOIL ROCKS - you could hit a gas pocket and it could burst! I've seen it happen. You can pour hot boiling water over them and let them sit in it, but not a rolling boil.

:)

I wouldn't use that for a substrate. Smooth is usually better.

Rough surface, delicate fins. You be the judge! (pun intended)

yeah, that's not a real rock.

When you go to Petco check out their bargain rack. I have found some really good deals on stones meant for aquariums.
