In place of.

Epsom salt is generally used for internal issues like bloat, SBD, parasites sometimes. Aq salt is used for external problems like inflamed gills and nommed tails. He's a beauty! Congrats!

Thank you. I'm relieved that he's already showing an improvement with us.

Noticed that Donqui's spine is bent, and he seems to be stuck in floating mode. I started him on AQ salt, an he's still breathing pretty heavily. Still hasn't eaten anything. I'm not sure what to do for him.

You could put him on some epsom salt instead of aq salt. Epsom salt will relieve him if he had any problems with his swim bladder. Bent spines can be lived with if he seems to otherwise enjoy life- eating and swimming and such.

I'd had him in Epsom Salt from tuesday till last night with no improvement. He's still not eating, he doesn't seem remotely interested. His breathing is closer to normal today though.

Have you tried some frozen brine shrimp or blood worms?

Mike caught Don Quixote's attention with some guppy fry.

Now he just has to catch them...

Tried the garlic soak on some pellets. No interest.

I moved him to a 2.5 with a heater, AQ salt, and tomorrow we get our black water extract (towards the end of the month, we'll get our IAL), and there's no change.

anything else?
