I think my dog wants to eat my fish

He keeps trying to get to the fish tank. He stares at it, he tries to climb the night table, and if I put him on the bed, he will try to make a break for the tank. And he doesn't do that with the other betta fish, only the single male betta in my bedroom. Can anyone explain this?

Do this with your dog. It worked with mine. He hasn't cared about it sense.

I've done this already. I have 2 tanks. The dog doesn't care about the tank with the three female betas in it, but he keeps going after the one with a single male betta in it.

Maybe he's interested in the longer fins of the male? Are the females a lighter color than the male? Obviously dogs can't see color, but it is possible that he notices the male more if his coloration is vastly different from your girls'.

He thinks its a prey item haha, dogs are very silly things. Just let him know that the tank is out of bounds. Is he able to knock off the tank?

This dog is always hungry when he smells or sees food, even when he's already eaten. It also doesn't explain why he only goes after the one fish and not the other ones.

He's a real wimpy teacup yorky. He can't climb nor jump up on anything. If I put him on my bed though, he will run straight to the fish. It's actually funny.

He can't reach any of them unless I put him in a position to. I put him up to the other tank, and he could not care less about those fish. Only when I put him up to this one tank with the one fish in it does he start wimpering and trying paw at the tank.

Maybe he's like my boy: just enjoys watching the fish. Does he also like watching TV? Mine does and once I setup the tank, he preferred that to the TV even lol. He just sits or stands and stares at it, wagging his tail when Alpha swims near to him, haha.
