LIVE worm emergency? Wth?

Ok, my sister just came in my room saying that a pink worm came out of her molly's mouth, ALIVE. We have NOT given her any worms to eat, or any freeze dried worms either. She says she THINKS the worm went back inside her, but is unsure because it swam around for a bit!? HELP? What do we do? D:

Hi, cannot see any worms on the picture. What color are the worms? Look up google image of planaria in freshwater tanks and tell me if it looks similar.

It's not camallanus worms is it? But they come out of the anus not the mouth of the fish. Best treatment for them is a medication containing metronidazole.

Is it alive and wriggling around? That last picture makes it look like stringy feces, sometimes my fish get that when I feed them frozen bloodworms.

It wouldn't hurt to give your fish some internal parasite medication containing metro as this will clear out most parasites and deal with the camallanus worms as well.

Camallanus worms are really nasty if it turns out to be them. If you see any protruding from your fish's anus don't try and pull them out as this can cause damage internally. I would probably do some googling just to have a look and compare the appearance of your 'worms' as it is hard for me to make a judgement online.

We haven't given her any freeze dried worms, and she is not in the same tank with a betta.

Any medication reccomendations?
