Know any famous people before they were famous?

i met the band Anti-Flag at an ANSWER rally back in 2004. they were a bunch of toolbags, though. i also knew a lot people from bands in the DC punk scene before i moved, but i dunno if anyone would have heard of any of them (you'd basically have to either be from DC or very into east coast punk for them to cross your radar)

when i worked at Caribou Coffee i met quite a few representatives, senators and embassadors coming in for coffee. the VAST majority were jerks, anyone with a secret service detail was even worse. their escorts always try to push them to the front of the line, and they act as if they are more deserving than everyone else.

Oh yeah, and I've met Mike from American Pickers - he and his then girlfriend (now fiancée) helped transport a dog we adopted from New York to where we live, which is really close to the original Antique Archeology.

Years ago I met Clint Eastwood while skiing at Winter Park, Colorado. My older brother worked for Barbara Walters and met tons of stars like Goldie Hawn, Johnny Carson, Esther Williams and Joan Rivers.
