Need help ASAP! Betta shock!

First, I apologize for any spelling/grammar mistakes, I am in a rush. I just bought a new betta, who was perfectly healthy. I was floating his bag in his tank, then slit it to acclimate. While I was eating dinner he swam out, now he is lethargic and motionless. I did condition the water.

I don't think you really acclimated him correctly. You should have let him float for around 20 minutes, then added a little bit of tank water, then let him sit 10 minutes, added more tank water, and repeat for about an hour. Just leave him in a dark, quite room and give him some time and see what happens.

Eemais, I know. He had been in that filthy bag water for longer then I was comfortable with so I rushed it. Anyone else?

You shocked him. There's nothing you can do but wait. I would put a towel over his tank and make it dark. You'll know in 3 days if he'll make it.
