Yes!!!! I actually did that once but didn't get enough. It was a few weeks ago :) man, there were a bunch of plants there. I found some hygro, anacharis, vallisneria, etc. I know a great spot!

You guys are lucky! All I've got here locally are Canadian pondweed and duckweed. >:/

Really sounds fun to go plant-hunting :)

Unfortunately, no. The mermaid economy is going bad and demand for gillyweed is high. It's being over-harvested.
