He's my avatar picture, but please lemme know if you need a better one (: He was labeled as Roundtail, but I thought he seemed like the feathered type or Over Half Moon, or maybe I am wrong. ;3
I had wanted to breed him with my lavender elephant ear female, hoping it'll be a good mix :3
He's at a weird angle, so a better flaring picture would be nice. He is a bad rosetail, so I probably wouldn't breed him unless you want a ton of culls.
@Matt: Noted, I didn't even see Rosetail on the list until now actually, thank you. And I mostly wanted to breed him for traits other than finnage and color types. I strive to extend the life of our little buddies, mostly. My own little experiment if you will. But since I am starting out, I will choose another breeder then :3 Thanks again for your input!
The female is a Purple/Red HMPK my brother ended up not liking when he order a few fish from a breeder on the east coast. We were also told she was an elephant ear, but other than that, I know nothing of her :/
I planned on ordering some HMPK from Thailand soon, those are the ones I wanted to breed for finnage and colors
Sorry, I need someone to ID something else please ^-^ My friend just surrendered this to me, after asking how to properly take care of bettas. She thought it just needed a bowl with bamboo. She bought it at a mom&pop shop, and was told it was an elephant ear. I'm awful at spotting finnage on females ):
I am also questioning if she is EE or not, but her fins are starting to turn white(you can see it) so maybe? Idk, I'm a noob at spotting and identifying things =3=
edit: Her coloration as well is something I've noticed, but again, I'm not good at this lol
