Talking my betta alejandro!

Hey guys I just joined this forum a month or two ago and I am loving the community here. I previously had a 1.5 gallon tank for my fish Alejandro. He seemed to love it but I couldn't keep up with the frequent water changes between my full time Job and school. I recently upgraded to a nice 6 gallon tank and he is just loving it and it is so much more fun watching him swim around. The maintenance is so much better because I only have to change the water 25% once a week. Thanks everyone for sharing your bettas. If there is anyone on the edge of getting a larger tank I say do it! It will save you a lot of hassle. Here is Alejandro!

P.s. he is still recovering from a bacteria infection he got in his 1.5 gal tank. Hopefully the new tank will help him heal quickly..

I am sure your betta will be much happier and healthier in his larger tank! Good on you for giving him a good life

He's pretty! I love his blue color. Make sure the new tank cycles before adding him or you must still do more frequent water changes until its cycled. This will take probably 5 weeks or more in a new tank unless you seed it with filter media from another established tank.

I have never seen a betta in a jellyfish tank before... It looks rather nice. I wouldn't have thought to do that. But that is a bit of an expensive tank to just put one fish in, IMO. I bet he's happy in it with all the room!
