bubble nests??

What is bubble nests? Should my betta be doing this??

After betas do thier "happy dance" the male will put the eggs in the bubble nest. If he is making one that just means he's a happy fish.

Yes. But for those of us that don't want to get into breeding it basically just means that our fishie is happy and healthy.

ok. Thank you i am new to this and today if i can or asap i am gona get a bigger tank and a heater for my betta. And what does it mean when it trys to hid under the rocks??

They like to hide sometimes, it makes them feel more sescure.

If he tries to hide UNDER the rocks it could tear his fins so why not get him a lttle cave thing to hide IN

Ok I am gona try to do tht tonight i am new at it and am recently in upgrades. And wat do bubble nests look like? And is it live bubbles at the top of the tank/bowl in my case for now. Cuz it just now started doin tht

A bubble nest looks like a floating mass of tiny bubbles that is often made 2 or 3 bubbles thick. It is made by the betta blowing one bubble at a time and letting them kind of bunch up together. If he makes a nest, it will often be in a corner or around a plant or ornament so that it won't move around much on the surface. In general, a betta will find something to anchor his nest to if there is anything at all he can use.
