So...lol......I'm starting to have nightmares about going to a LFS and getting new females only for them to get home and turn into males. It's been a silly week and a half.

Anyways, out of my koi babies I got from Logisticsguy, after growing some-more, two 'girls' started competing for the entire 29gallon. And then I saw their beards xD

So now they're re-homed in split 5 gallons and re-named.

Introducing Styxx (blue koi) and Tsukino Tatsu (meaning 'dragon of the moon' - also, the marbled koi)








And I've now noticed Tatsu has 'geisha' lipstick ^^;

They look terrific! How did I let those 2 get away? jk. Colors really coming on with them. Im seriously still having trouble sexing a few of their brothers and sisters lol. I need better glasses looking for teeny lil eggspots. I bet Saffron is happy they are in a new tank.

And I do feel a bit bad but I cant give them up! So cuuuute, especially Tatsu with his geisha lipstick xD Just in time for Valentine's Day

Saffron's more active but it looks like Artemis has taken charge. Sena's girls are coloring up and lost their horizontal stripes now that the boys are out too. Gonna try to get pics of them later =D they dont look like minnows anymore! XD
