Is this marbling?

Ranmaru has never been a perfectly solid pink bodied betta. I always figured, 'hey these marks are pretty pale' and never worried because he's been medicated before and his marks never went away.

Sassy Ranmaru is as sassy as ever, but when they were pointed out in some of my most recent pics again, I worried a little.

Question, is this marbling? Or some underlying problem I don't know about. He's always had them, he's eating, he's flaunting, he's being a happy little attention hog-but I want to make sure!

some fish changes colors, so i dont know. If he seems happy, i wont worry about it =D

Bettas will change colors often as they mature, especially in some of the lighter colors. We all change somewhat as we get older! lol
