Best betta food?

Hello everyone,
I was curious to see if someone can tell me what the best food for bettas is? There is such a variety. I currently have Aqueon betta pellets and bettamin flakes . I also give a treat of freeze dried brine shrimp or bloodworms 1x/week.
I feed 3 pellets 2 x/day. I know I should vary my bettas diet too so I got him flakes but he doesn't like them very much. I would like to know what you all suggest for a better quality food or just something to change it up a bit. Thanks

I use Hikari Bio-gold supplemented with blood worms and sometimes brine shrimp, but a lot of people say Omega One or New Life Spectrum is the way to go

I've been using New Life Spectrum with great results, as well as frozen foods (bloodworms, krill, and brine shrimp) a couple of times a week. I have tried Omega One as well but my bettas didn't seem to really dig it much.

Petco carries the betta version, but maybe not all.. mine does but I hear some people can't find it. You can get it online here: http://www.kensfish.com/moreinfo/spe...a-60-gram.html

New Life Spectrum is Great, but smells horrible.
Omega one is also a good one but has bigger pellets so younger bettas sometimes have a hard time eating them.

I hear the best out there is attisons betta pro, but I also heard they discontinued it so it might be a little hard to find. Last time I checked amazon had it, and I'm pretty sure the IBC store carries it as well.

I think the reason some fish really go after NLS is the smell... it is extra stinky :) I feed it in my community tank too... my angels really love it.
