Rasta, my delta tail beauty, spends hours staring down his image on the sides of the tank, flaring and chasing himself. am i over-reacting or is my reggae boy becoming neurotic?

Sounds normal, although if it is too much find a way to make the side not so reflective to him. It could be too much stress if its all day, I have one that does that but its only for a certain time each day & not constant.
I have a veil tail that does that, though not for hours and he doesn't really flare. As long as it's not all the time he'll be fine. He just thinks his reflection is another male. Lol
