That's true I could except I dont own any fake plants and I just put the plants in that tank yesterday so it will take a couple of days/week for the plants to settle in and start growing.

If it comes down to it I can put more Water Sprite in the tank. He seems to like hanging out in the plants of water sprite i have in there now. He seems to be swimming around more today through he still gets distracted by his reflection in the glass and flares up! LoL

About frozen foods...

We sort of ran this one into the ground last December on TFK.

Also on here ( I was quite interested at the time).

Anyway, I feed Omega One because that's what I have. And the Platy get NLS baby pellets (so does the resident plakat, as much as he wants after eating his Betta buffet pellets)

About reflections. Betta vary regarding their sensitivity or reflections.

A solid dark background gives the most reflections. A lighter, mottled background reflects less. You can judge for yourself.

A light-filled space between the tank and the backdrop has the least, in my observation.

Not even sure how to achieve that!??!?? LoL

Usually I have found out the less light shining in the tank the less reflection. So lots of floating plants and and a heavily planted tank will usually help.
