Garlic for baby betta

I asked this on the baby betta thread, but since it's so long and my post was long too, it got kind of lost. My question is:

Is it a good idea to give baby bettas garlic soaked food?

It won't be a daily thing and I haven't tried it yet, but I had some food soaking in garlic for Alpha, who is old and sick, and wondered if the baby would benefit from this too, to help her immune system.
