What a difference a week makes

My new guy has happily settled into his 10 gallon tank. Coloring up nicely and even starting a bubble nest.

first day home

Now

working on his nest. Sorry for the bad quality, I had to zoom in from across the room with a cheap-o camera.

Thanks, I'm quite happy with him:) His fin healed up in just a couple day, I can't see any signs of where the tear was.

I am very proud, I still can't believe I found him at the lps. He was mismarked and the price was jacked up but he is by far my favorite betta ever.
I'd really like to try and breed him if I can find a decent female.

Wow, if those weren't both in one place, I wouldn't believe it's the same fish.
