It's raining fry *picture heavy*

Home alone on a Friday night, what else to do (besides get a life) other than have a photoshoot with some of my fry?

These fish (excluding the adult) were all bred by me. I've been a bit overrun by fry at the moment. Got eight dedicated grow-outs running at the moment plus the fry I can't get out of their parents' tanks.

Juveniles out of a two-year-old pair. Not a bad job. Growing out very nicely. They colour right up but were shy for photos.

These fry are growing out in their parents' tank (parents have been removed). I also have another bunch growing out in a separate tank as back-ups.

One of my bigger fry

Two naughty fry I can't get out of their parents' tank. They ate all/most of their newly free-swimming siblings so they are getting caught tomorrow and removed.

Just a nice shot of one of my adult females (not bred by me).

What kind are they? The bigger ones have very long, sleek bodies.

The pic of the little single fry in the corner of the tank is sooooo cute. It needs a caption saying "hello anyone out there that can feed me", lol.

I know, some of them are so tiny still. I can watch them all day as they are always swimming around picking at stuff or having tiffs with each other over who gets to eat where.

Fishy Mom
The first fry are Betta rutilans

Pft, I just live an ocean or so away. Have so many burdigala fry it is insane. There is at least 20 odd in with their parents, 6 in one grow-out (they are older) and around 40 odd in another. Have no idea what I am supposed to do with them all.

Just moved my persephone into their proper adult home as opposed to a grow-out so it will be interesting to see if I get any spawning happening.

I swear those film canisters I have been using are like an aphrodisiac. My males are never out of them!

Thanks! Helps to have such an awesome camera.

Only have 8-12 months before these all reach adult size. At least it gives me a lot of time to plan where I am going to stash them all.
