Second time betta owner joining the forum!

Hi Guys!
I decided to join this forum after I seemed to get so much info and help on getting and caring for my new Betta!

I used to have a Betta named Prince. I was misinformed and got him as a gift so I must be honest in saying I didn't take the best care of him. He was kept in a 1.5 gallon tank without a filter or heater but he did seem happy, active, and lived a good 5 years. This time around I've done my research and am prepared to give my new friend a good home!

This little guy in my avatar is Frankie :) I just got him today, the water is warm and the heater is coming tomorrow. He seems a bit shy and sluggish since getting into his new home but Im sure he'll be more settled in a few days and when his heater comes.

um, I think you can teach US a few things! My first betta lived a whole year in 5 gallons with filter and heater. Welcome!
