Blind EE purple betta

Hi guys,

I just got back from petco and saw this little guy below. He's blind (not sure if both his eyes are), doesn't necessarily look unhealthy (in fact he has really nice color) but wouldn't move from that one spot the whole 20 minutes I was there. If any of you guys in the area would like to adopt him, I just ask that you pay whatever it'll cost me to buy him (which I can't imagine it'd be much). It'd be nice for him to go to people that know more about bettas since I wouldn't want this poor little guy to be someone's first betta experience ^^; I'm in Pembroke Pines, but I could bring him to Miami also if that's closer. I'd be happy to house him temporarily.

Too bad shipping would stress him out too badly. I would take him in a heartbeat!

Yeah If you were a little closer I would've considered it but I've never shipped fishes before and I'd be scared to first try it with a blind fish (although I'm not sure if being blind would make it harder....) I want to take him but I really need to save space for when I breed my CTs =/ At least at petco he has a planted tank all to himself... maybe one of the employees noticed and is taking care of him, at least I hope! ^^;

Wow really? thanks for letting me know, I was gonna be super surprised at the counter XD I havent bought Bettas at petco in years.

hes beautiful. i would take him but we are way way way to far. im gonna get 2 king bettas with 2 two gal. tanks for $10 combined. p.s. one is blind.

So how do people feed blind bettas? Just wondering ^^;; And wow that's quite a deal! congrats on the 2 kings =]
