Red face Pics of my purple giant and dalmatian female!

Makara is my purple giant. Spooky is my dalmatian female who I raised from a very small, pure white almost-fry.

The tank is so heavily planted I sometimes can't find him...

I love his face and lips!

Who says girls aren't pretty? Unfortunately she munched on her tail a little bit because she was trying to impress the new fry in the tank next to hers, but it should grow back pretty quickly.

Pretty sure she is thinking "I'm too sexy for my spots"

Beautiful! Your Makara could almost be a sibling to my Lincoln a copper Giant. Love your fish and set up!

Woah! Are giant's the same as king's? I've only had one, and he was my favorite fish i've ever had. :) Man your Makara had a gorgeous color to him, and your little dalmatian girl is verrrry cute. :)

If you got your copper male from Thailand then they very well could be!

Kings as far as I know, are half giants, and as such tend to be half the size of true giants. He is still quite young (less than 7 months) so I am hoping for a little more growth from him, but only time will tell. I find my bettas tend to grow very slowly.

Unfortunately I will not be breeding them. I only have the facilities for 3-5 betta fish at a time at the moment. As it is, moving the three tanks I currently have between college and home is quite a bit of work.

Thank you! I wish I could get a better photo of it. Photos don't do it justice. However, it is a bit overgrown at the moment. I pulled about 20ft of roots from the frogbit out the other day. I can't wait for the crypts to start growing more.
