Angus then and now

Since I just came back to the forums I decided to post new pics of Angus. He's changed a lot over the past year.

Thanks! I didn't even realize how big of a change it was until I put the pics together.

does he look healthy? I feel bad because our heater was broken and over heating the water! I just found out today so we've been monitoring temp until we can go to the store tomorrow for a new heater and probably a new tank too...change from a smaller tank to a 5 gallon. the bottom pic was from tonight.

also do you know what kind of betta he is? last year we thought he was a delta...does that sound right? he's my first betta and I'm so happy he's still with us. our friends bought a betta the same day and theirs died a long time ago. I feel horrible about the temp problem, but he seems to be doing a lot better tonight!

If you do switch tanks, make sure to keep your filter media, and gravel from your current tank. It will be vital for seeding the new tank with good bacteria, so you don't have another cycle!

If you don't want to keep your current gravel you could scoop a bunch of it up and put it in a panty ho, or filter bag and keep in floating in the tank!

Looks healthy to me. I'm just amazed at how his colors have changed....and he didn't even seem like a marbled betta to begin with.

I knew he had changed, but I haven't looked at the pics from when I first got him in quite a while. I think he's quite the handsome fish, but I'm biased. lol
