He's been clamped all morning since that pic, but just started swimming and showing off his fins again.

I haven't tried to feed him again. I figure I'll wait it out...just don't know how long.

Some fish take longer than others. He probably isn't sure about what to do with such a larger space! (:

I've been trying to go over to him so he gets used to me at least. I think he got freaked out after it was daylight outside because he could see everything around him with the extra light. Not that he ever had darkness at our 24 hour walmart. I'm sure this is all just a shock to the poor guy. Once he eats I'll feel a bit better.

I agree that you should wait a little bit before trying to get him to eat, but if that doesn't work later on there are little techniques (i'm not familiar with them) you can ask about to make the pellets I guess... more delicious XD I'm not sure but I think they involve garlic!

I've seen a couple of posts about that too. I don't know all the details, but if he doesn't eat today I might start researching more.

Fruity's fins are changing color already. I'm worried it's fin rot. Did anyone see the pics in my other thread in the health questions area?

24 hours in his new home and he's unclamped for good I think!

kind of good look of his fins...still don't know what to think about them

he even flared at me tonight. I posted it in the flare contest. all I did was go up to the tank and he flared lol.
