No, she's not a dragonscale. I was told very rudely at the pet store that the reason "he" had a short tail is because dragonscale was a short tail type, and that "he" was most certainly not a female as I insisted. I've since learned that it has nothing to do with tail length. I've also realized that I was right about "he" being a she.

Plus, you probably had to pay more for her due to the mislabeling, correct?

probably has something to do with the fact that males have higher price tags than females why provide accurate information when you can make an extra five bucks, huh?

This annoys me so badly. At the petsmart I go to they've had a female in a dragonscale crowntail cup for two weeks. Not only does she have a visible egg spot, but she is not even a crown tail... There's no way to fool even a beginner. Either someone pays roughly 10$ too much to save a veiltail or she'll die of bad water conditions.
