Will this be too heavy for this tank?

My mom has a 3 gallon tank (http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2752385) The filter that came with it (Tetra Whisper Micro Filter) isn't exactly "micro" and takes up a LOT of room inside, it also isn't doing that fantastic of a job, the water is always a little murky. :S

Would this filter http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-AZOO-Mig...30844859826%26 be too heavy to have on the back of the tank? I'm worried it might break the plastic... Thanks!

it should be fine if i read correctly it is rated for up to 3 1/2 gallon tanks so it is appropriate for your tank size.

Either of the Azoo Mignon filters (the 60 or the 150) would be fine.. they are adjustable so you can slow the flow to almost nothing if you want to :)

Azoo makes great filters for betta because the current is nice and soft.

That Mignon would be fine. It's listed at $12 on Amazon, but out of stock.

Might be able to find it cheaper than $17 somewhere.

EDIT: This is a very good filter also for that size tank.
