i got it to fit and i will work on getting an adjustable heater... neon will just have to shiver for a few days... thank you!

25w adjustable is what you need...
I've used a 50w adjustable in a .5 beore too.
as long as it fits... and always test run before hand with a reliable temperature.

unfortunately I've never used preset heaters... but Personally i wouldnt try it either
