My betta has ick

Hello everyone, recently I bought some new plants and I guess they came with some parasites. My poor betta Petter undeniably has Ick.. I bought some Rid-Ich Plus. How long will it take for this to go away? Any suggestions or experience would be appreciated!

I used the heat & salt method to treat when I bought a female who had ich. I turned the heat up to 86F, added 1 tsp aq salt per gallon one time, a 50%+ water change & vacuum every other day until I saw no spots & left the heat up for about a week after I saw the last spot. She was lethargic & just laid on one of the leaves for 2-3 days, then all was good, she perked up, began eating & is now happy in the big girl 46g tank.
