My betta attacked a mystery snail, but he has no problem with nerite snails. Mystery snails come out of their shells kind of far so they're more obvious and attract a betta's curiosity/territorialism more than nerites who hardly stick out from their shells at all and just look like gliding rocks from a fish's point-of-view.
Plus nerites are good cleaners if you have any algae, and they usually have pretty patterns on their shells, like stripes or spots.
