Alright.

Around 3-4 days now.

That's the reason I figured it was dropsy in the first place. They're raised. Not quite pinecone yet, but it's obviously raised.

Ah, yes, I see you mentioned it in post #9, and Callistra replied in post #10. That's how the Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate heptahydrate) conversation started.

Not eating for 3-4 days isn't a big deal. Raised scales are a big deal, though....

Edited to add: Did you do the series of water changes that Callistra recommended, to bring down the ammonia?

Indeed.

Yes. And I'm concerned that it's going to continue.

Yes. I've been doing the water changes.

Ugh. Any luck finding the antibiotics that Callistra recommended? Also, I know that she suggested 1 teaspoon Epsom salt per gallon, but I've seen recommendations as high as 3 teaspoons per gallon. Something to think about, especially if you're concerned about dropsy....

I currently only have betta revive on hand. A fishstore that I know that sells a plethora of antibiotics is almost 30 minutes away by car from my house, and there's no way I can possibly get there on my own, nor will my parents let me.
And in terms of increasing salt, sounds like a good idea.
