Hello everyone, my name is Matthew and I'm a new member to this wonderful forum. My family an I live in Ortenberg, Germany I met my wife here when I was in the American Army, and when I got out I decided to stay. We have a beautiful daughter together and we are new to the Betta world. We had 130 liter fish tank full of water and plants for two years and one day I decided to get fish for it, little did I know I would get a Betta and quickly full in love with them. In the past month since we bought our fish we have gotten two 10 liter tanks, one 5 litter nano dude an a 60 liter tank, not to mention more plants and fish. All together we have 2 male Betta's 6 females, 2 Clown Loaches, 2 Red Tail Sharks, 1 Dwarf Puffer, 9 Neon Tetras, 3 Algae Eaters, And I don't know how many Fancy Guppies because we recently had fry from 3 of them. My main goal is to successfully breed our Betta's I have tried several times but it was the wrong couple or I got too impatient. I want to have everything perfect and have a little more knowledge before I try again. I think I have visited this website everyday since I joined it and I have to say that everyone is so helpful and I have learned a lot, thank you all for the great advice and all the wonderful pictures of your fish as it makes me very motivated and excited to see what I can create.
