Hello, I'm Karlee!

I am a 13 year old Colorado native who is getting back into betta fish with my sorority tank I am getting on Friday. :) I had a betta when I was younger named Rainbowfish and he lived for 2 years and died with a bad petsitter. We had a good bond and being the smart little kid I was I would hold him out of the water. (he allowed it?) I also took care of my neighbors betta as well around that time. I haven't had any more fish because my mom doesn't really like keeping them. :P But my dad decided that I could get a sorority tank at his house so I am very excited to get started again.
I have been lurking around and you all are so nice, so I really hope I will be given a chance to fit in with you all and make some friends!

Hi, Moonshadow! Me and my dad decided just to get a boy or two and keep them divided in a roomy ten gallon since we are just getting back into the hobby again. :) I will definitely be asking you some questions, thanks for being so welcome. I have been stalking this forum for a while and I am so happy to start to be part of it!

Your lucky! My mom doesnt like fish too much (dont know why?), so my only luck with getting back into bettas will be with my dad lol. :)

I also breed and am a member of the ibc :D
Of my twelve fish, 8 are females and 4 are males, the two more I am getting are a male and a female meaning I will have 9 girls and 5 males :)

That's awesome! My dad would freak if I said I wanted to actually breed the bettas, as I think both him and I both would have a problem finding homes for bazillions of little babies haha. I am hopefully going to convince my mom to let me get one for her house because I have started to catch the bug. :) Eventually I want a cool HMPK from AB, but for now I just want to start with some Petstore beauties.

I am getting a hmpk dumbo soon, that is named Lovelace one of my two new bettas :)
