My favorites are the last one where he is flaring, the very first one, and I think the fourth one.

Thank you Angus! I do not have a lot of light, not even an extra lamp, to shine on him. And forget his tank light, its too dim for good photos. I had to rely on the sunlight peering in the window at a certain angle to get those ones you liked. I love the flaring one too. It was the only clear shot I've been able to get of him darting through a hiding spot just to flare at me. All the others were blurry.

AMAZING!!! I wish there were more veiltails that amazing looking, most of them at petsmart or petco are just plain looking

I found Crusoe at PetSmart on my first try actually, with a bunch of other gorgeous veiltails. I had to decide between him and a yellow boy. The yellow boy had a lot of little black scales, which I am not a fan of, and was much older. Crusoe had an awesome personality--and still does!

They continued to have beautiful veiltails and other breeds for a few months but then their stock dropped in quality. Last time I was there they did not have as many fish and the ones they did have were very dark and inactive. It depends on their shipment, really.
