Poo question

Hi :)

This morning i believe my betta Julio tried to eat his own poo!!!
He spat it out straight away... what the heck?
Is this normal behaviour? I had fed him about 30 mins earlier

Your post made me laugh. Yes, some of them will do this. One of mine chews his and spits it out. (Conversely, my female will only poop behind her heater where no one can see it.)

Well im glad i made u laugh!!
ive never seen him do this before and was like...what the?!
he did spit it out however, but he kept trying to eat it and then spit it out.
I felt so bad that i ended up giving him another pellet to eat!
hehehe
he normally poos near his heater too (thats where most of it sits), but i guess they drop off in the gravel sometimes!
