pea problem

my crowntail betta yesterday ate a pea that is defrosted by putting it in a cup of hot water for 15 minute.after that i cut them into betta bite size andd gave it to him.after he eat the peas,he's stomach is full up and this morning he's stomach is still full up.
pardon my english.

p.s how long does it take for the betta to digest the pea

it may take a day or two for him to pass what he needs too,
if constipation is the problem,
would it be possible for you to tell us more about the tank he is in ?
water test readings.
water temperature.
cleaning routine
feeding routine and what food it is.
that may help to see if there is anything else.
oh yes one more thing...........
