I wish! :p Aquascaping this tank has always been an enormous challenge due to the shape. It's 18 inches tall but only 14.5 inches wide and deep.

What you can't really see in there is that the driftwood cave from the second picture is still in there. The java ferns have just grown beyond belief so that they now almost reach the surface.

Here it is after a clean. Unfortunately, as soon as I hoover up debris, they make more.

I wish my fern grew as wildly as yours! What is your substrate? Dirt, right?

Nope. Gravel at the edges, sand in the centre. The ferns I tied to the driftwood cave when I first bought it and they've just gone crazy from there. I stopped using ferts at least 18 months ago because I couldn't keep up with the plant growth.

Unfortunately my red ludwigia has grown too long (read: I didn't keep up with trimming it) and looks really nasty and stringy. When it goes in th new tank I'll trim it right down to a couple of inches and let it regrow from there, methinks.
