So some of you may know that last night Jackson got sucked into the filter and passed on to betta heaven. Since then my dad and I cut apart a spare fish net and put it over the sucking part of the filter so that it wont happen anymore. We also did a 75% water change and then added the conditioners again.
But onto the real point of this thread, we got a new red Crowntail male named Ranger! He didn't move in his cup (quite frankly I didn't see him!) until my dad and I were making our final decisions, then he swam all around and flared a little bit, so we had to make him our new betta.
He is really active in the 10 gallon with his three platy friends (he is scared of the platys!) and he loves to rest behind the driftwood we have in there. I'm not gonna feed him tonight, but he can get a nice full belly in the morning along with the platys.
Here are some pictures of Ranger settling in! His cup kept tipping over and after 20 minutes, I finally had it because I didn't want any gross Petco water in my clean tank water.
