is this a good deal on a tank?

I was surfing Craigslist last night and found this

This is everything you get.. 7 gallon fish tank , aqueon quiet flow filter , top fin air 2000 air pump , 4 weighted down base plants , top fin algea thins , 1/2 of a 20 lb bag of petco aquarium gravel , and one small fish net. They are asking 50 obo. Is this a good deal/home for a betta? Thanks for any help

I won't pay more then $30. Fish tanks depreciate most of their value as soon as you put water in them. It's a good home for a Betta but not a good price for used fish housing/supplies. You are taking all the risk because you have no clue what happened to the original inhabitant. Never take a seller's word either.

I have two of the 5 gallons, those are the new led hoods. Mine also came with the aquatech filter. I felt I didn't need to clean it as much as the 5 gallon hex. The hex is good but I didn't think the filter was good. Mine came with a different filter that wasn't shown in the picture.

They have a 10 gallon in the store that is like $30..if you want double the size for a few bucks more.

I have 2 of those tanks and they are fine I like the leds and the filters that came with mine were adjustable so I didn't have to baffle or anything which is a plus
