Betta fish is dying/sick

Hey everyone, I was meaning to clean my tank for about a month or so but could never get the new filter, and it ended up getting pretty bad so I had to do a 100% water change, and now my Betta has this white fuzz growing on him, and he just sits at the bottom of the tank, hardly moving.

I bought him aquarium salt, and put about half a tablespoon in (like 6-7 little salt things) In my 1L tank, I know it's small but its the best I have :(

Do I add more in everyday until he's better? Should I add some other stuff I have for ick?

WOAH! a 1 liter tank? That's .26 gallons! Which is way too small! I'm not an expert on betta, but after reading loads of post on here, I suggest that you upgrade his tank (to a 1.5 gallon at least)as soon as you can! And make sure you have a heater because betta are tropical fish and love warm water. A clean and warm tank will help your lil guy in the long run.

Im not quite sure how to treat the white fuzz, hopefully someone here can help you soon :)!

Uhm...quick question....
When was the last time you saw your betta move? Was he moving his fins? or just his gills?

I don't see a heater. Get one and a thermometer and get the water temp up to 80.

+1, unless your flash hit his eyes the wrong way, I saw white solid pupils, and that's how I remember Fred when I found him dead laying at the bottom of the tank. He could be blind too.

Try nudging him with a drinking straw or a stirrer or move it close to him gently to see if he responds. Also, do not like the copper color of the top of the head area, he is pretty sick IME.

If he is dead, I suggest you don't get another betta until you know how to PROPERLY take care of it.

A betta doesn't really need a filter but it DOES need clean warm water. That tank is too small really even to fit those tiny heaters in. I'm going to have to say, it looks like he's too far gone. But for reference, AQ salt is the correct treatment for fuzzies and finrot - he doesn't have ich.

IF you get another fish, get a bigger tank and heater FIRST. You don't need a filter, and with their long fins, having to fight a current in small tanks can actually be hard on the males. But what you WILL need to do is change out the water on a regular schedule, usually a 50% and a close to 100% each week.
