Floating female in males tank

I admit I only have 1 heater(due to money issues) and my female betta lives in a 1gallon bowl and her water is super cold. Would it be a bad idea to float her in a cup in my males tank?

Im not sure when I'll be able to buy a new heater for her :/

If this isn't a good idea I can consider rehoming her. What do you think?

I had this problem for awhile. I used a little space heater. I put on low heat and it kept the water at 80 degrees. Now if you don't have that I would rehome her until you can get a heater.

Last night I forgot to close the lid to her aquarium and she jumped out and died. :c

Its fine. I might go to the petstore today and pick a heater and a new betta fish. Im not sure. ;c
