That little "bald spot"? lol
That's normal coloration. Happens a lot of with dragons.

His head is the only dragonscale-ish part on his body. Is there such thing as half dragonscales?

I'm not sure if that's possible, but I've seen bettas with a head like Armand's. He'll be fine.

Don't mind his tail. He got "attacked" by a plastic plant. Removed it and now he is in a QT tank
