Tarzan's Got a New Tank! + Breeding Questions

Hey guys!

I bought Tarzan a new tank today. It's 3gallons and he's the only one in there right now.
I was reading around about the filters against the betta. Well, Tarzan does seem to be moving along quite well, but he does like to hang out around the stop. He wasn't always like this before without a filter. Is that normal? Perhaps he's just getting used to it all.

Tarzan is in a breeding phase right now. In the old 1/2gallon tank, he made a nest of bubbles on the top. Now with the new filtration, will he still be able to do so? Is it ok to not let Tarzan breed? I mean, I don't have any female betta swimming around yet. It won't depress him will it?

no it will not depress him, i'd rather people not breed them than breed them without proper research :)

im just worried if my fish likes the new tank or not.
I find that he looks a bit lonely now. I wonder what other type of fish I can add.

corydoras catfish do great with bettas, as they do not stay at the same area of the water column . Be wary of your tank though if it can hold anymore livestock due to size.
