Poetry, anyone?

Does anybody here write poems? If you do, can you post some? Here's one if mine:
Where I want to be
Shining warmth and gentle breeze,
Feel the swaying of the trees.
Ocean sings and plays,
See the little, distant cays.
I climb a tree and then I see,
This is where I want to be.

Here's another:

Home
Comfy and cosy,
Familiar like a garden of posies.
Steady sounds of cities,
Filter like the purrs of kitties.
Safe by day, steady by night,
And here it will stay as long as the sun shines bright.

Yet another, since nobody else posted.

Free
I can feel the soothing breeze,
weaving through the swaying trees.
I can see the birds fly by,
making patterns in the sky.
This thing called spring,
it's a wonderful thing.
It means that I feel free.

Roses are red
violets are blue
there's lice in my pants

well since misters thread is pretty much dead. I'll repost this here. (Note: I am into more free verse, some rhyming here and there )

Silence Remains

Quarter to three with drunken taste on the roads
Air filled with heavy breaths as sleep takes hold
The quiet of the night breaks with pounding on a frame
Silence lingers to those who see no evil
Silent we all remain

Etchings on the wood twisted to let through echoes of screams
One in his sight a claiming love
Is now just a man who threatens his pride
Silence rebukes those who hear no evil
Silent we all remain

The bodily force of protection is not enough
Cast aside through the ripples
It is time to feel the horrors of being murdered alive
Beaten back from where we came
The dust never settles where innocence lays
Silence remains to those who speak no evil
Silent we will all remain.

Nice! Yeah, I couldn't find mister's thread either. Oh well.

Books
Feels like my haven,
anything I want.
I can imagine and create,
whatever I feel like.
I can go with Alice to Wonderland,
or on the hunt for the 39 Clues.
It's like a private jet to anywhere,
anywhere I care to go.
